Iron Neck Alpha Harness

Iron Neck Alpha Harness

The Iron Neck Alpha Harness is an adjustable neck training harness designed for resisted neck strengthening using bands, cable machines or weight plates.

With multiple reinforced D-ring attachment points, the Alpha Harness allows resistance to be applied from different directions, making it suitable for a wide range of neck strengthening exercises, including flexion, extension, lateral flexion, protraction and retraction and limited rotational training, but also isometric.

It provides a simple, versatile option for athletes, coaches and practitioners looking to incorporate targeted neck work into strength and conditioning, sports performance or rehabilitation programmes.

Multi-Directional Neck Training

Unlike traditional head harnesses that are primarily designed for hanging weight, the Iron Neck Alpha Harness features multiple attachment points around the harness.

These allow the direction of resistance to be changed depending on the exercise being performed. Use it with resistance bands or a cable machine for dynamic and isometric neck exercises, or attach a suitable weight plate using the supplied tether strap for more traditional loaded neck training.

Designed for Sport, Strength & Rehabilitation

Neck strength is relevant across a wide range of sports and training environments. The Alpha Harness can be used as part of neck training programmes for:

• Rugby and contact sports

• MMA, boxing, wrestling and combat sports

• Motorsport

• Strength and conditioning

• General neck strengthening

• Physiotherapy and rehabilitation

• Prehabilitation and return-to-sport programmes

The ability to control both the direction and level of resistance also makes the harness suitable for progressive training, from lighter rehabilitation exercises through to more demanding strength work.

Adjustable & Padded

The Alpha Harness uses an adjustable strap system to accommodate different head sizes and help maintain a secure fit during training.

Padding on the inside of the harness helps distribute pressure across the head, while the reinforced nylon construction is designed for repeated use in home, clinic and gym environments.

Multiple Resistance Options

The Alpha Harness can be used with:

Resistance bands
Ideal for progressive resistance and multi-directional neck exercises.

Cable machines
Provides consistent, adjustable resistance and works particularly well in gym and strength & conditioning environments.

Weight plates
The included nylon tether can be connected to the D-rings for traditional plate-loaded neck exercises using suitable small weight plates.

This gives coaches, athletes and practitioners the flexibility to use the Alpha Harness with equipment they may already have available.
